This week Jonathan has been teaching and directing young filmmakers and actors at NYFA Summer SetReady course. NYFA website has no information about this two week course. I found some young people comments about it. One comment was about Jonathan: "...JF was preeeety cool". No pictures so far.
Dear Jonathan, you're never on vacation, aren't you. Always at work.
Best of luck in your hard work!

You can watch "The Modern Prometheus" episode (of Highlander) from May 1997  here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lf3KbhfefvI (in English)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xr1a7Fn3x6o (In Italian)

Jonathan as Lord Byron (a poet and a rock star), a brilliant mind feeling dead inside, who is pushing things to the limit.

As a teenager, I watched some episodes of the Highlander television series in the late 1990s during the show's popularity. It was my second time when I noticed Jonathan for his good acting (the first film was "Wuthering Heights").

Jonathan on TV ...

....in The Mask of the Demon (of Father Brown) as Rex Bishop on Drama channel on 24 August at 2:00 pm and on Alibi channel - 26 August at 1:10 pm.

I think  Jon has a natural talent (he was born with an ability to perform). His talent, love and passion for acting, perseverance make him a great actor, an acting tutor and a film director. I'd love to see him in some new films.

Nelson in his own words (narrated by Jonathan)

If you love history, you will like this BBC History Documentary  -  "Nelson in His Own Words" hosted by Jonathan. Published in 2015 it's about Britain's greatest naval hero Horatio Nelson, about his career and passionate love affair with Emma Hamilton. And it's always a pleasure to hear Jon's soothing voice.
Documentary duration is about 59 min.

TELLMYDAUGHTER.COM

Jonathan is participating in a very interesting project, created by an army of volunteer crew, male and female. The aim is to raise awareness and support survivors of abuse and assault in conjunction with RISE, the Nobel Prize nominated NPO, who are passing the Survivors Bill of Rights state by state in the US and are taking it to the UN in September 2019.

“EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED TO TELL MY DAUGTHER ABOUT MEN”  is a black comedy, originally written for the stage by actress and screenwriter Lorien Haynes for her daughter. It traces a woman’s relationship history backwards, exploring the results of a sexual assault on her choices and her relationship experiences from teen pregnancy to infidelity and addiction.

Brenda Spira and Lorien Haynes at Lila Productions, and Jamie Harvey at Terra Nova release a full length feature dramedy and a subsequent anthology series of 16 short films, directed by 18 women in both the US and UK.

Jonathan is in 11th short film “Egerton” (with Lorien Haynes). It doesn’t say what this episode is about. Only this: “Emotionally crippled, public school boy”. This episode with Jonathan has been filmed one (or two days) ago. Interesting who is Jon's character?

Lorien Haynes posted this picture on her Instagram page, she thanked the crew and the cast, saying “Thank you to the fantastic Jonathan Firth…”

There are more information about this project, short films, crew and 15 actors who volunteered to fight sexual violence on a website https://www.tellmydaughter.com/#home-section

I think it’s a very important project, my respect for people who are doing it. Will be wating for further information about this project and short films.

British director Christopher Nolan is filming parts of his upcoming spy-thriller event film "Tenet" in my hometown at the moment. This film starring John David Washington and Robert Pattison.

They're going to shut down this main road that leads straight into the City centre. Some men put these construction fences up under my windows this morning.

But I would love to see Jonathan filming here:) It would be great.

Have a great week!

I've already listened 5 episodes of "A Passage to India".  I like radio drama. As you listen to it, listen dialogues and sound effects, you build your own images of the story in your mind... It's like a movie in my mind.
