Albert Schweitzer online

I've found today the full movie "Albert Schweitzer" from 2009 on youtube. It's a nice quality, and it's in English.

Some people can't stand even the thought of spending their workdays behind a computer screen all day, chained to their swivel chair —I’m one of those people. Week 5 of working from home is over, and I’m starting to miss my human colleagues. Seeing them on a computer screen is different.

I’ve found today this picture of Jonathan smiling, and that

cheered me up.

Stay well!

I hope you’re all safe and healthy, and got used to work from home. Second week, here I come.
Here is something to brighten my mood:
From the play "Everything I ever wanted to tell my daughter about men" rehearsals.

I haven't found any articles about Thursday fundraising reading Everything I ever wanted... at the Globe. Just a few comments from people who were a part of this event: "...a night of powerful storytelling...", "...the whole cast were terrific...", "...Lorien Haynes and co have created something remarkable...", "...evening I'll never forget".
I guess this event went really well.

"The Waringham Chronicles"

I wrote about "The W.C" in December. I didn't know that this project is so huge.
Besides Jonathan, there're a lot of other actors working on this audio drama series. Volume 1 of The Waringham Chronicles will be released in a week, on 30th of January.
Barnaby Edwards, director of this audio drama, said that it'll be the world's biggest ever audio drama. They're still recording it. The last Volume will be out in the end of 2020.
The length of Volume 1 is 11 hrs and 20 mins. Can you imagine that?

Saturday, December 21, 2019

I've found a very cute photograph of Jonathan and his co-star Abigail Cruttenden from "Centrepoint". "Centrepoint" is a four-part British television thriller first broadcasted on Channel 4 in October 1990. Jonathan plays a young man faced with the task of avenging his fathers death, helped by his girlfriend. I haven't seen this series, and it wasn't released on DVD.

Jon was quite a good-looking young man. He is still just as handsome as he used to be (only a little bit older).

Tuesday, December 17, 2019

Lorien Haynes wrote today on her Instagram account, that 1/3 of the tickets's already sold to the fundraising reading "Everything I ever wanted to tell my daughter about men" on 20 February 2020. All profits from this event will go towards supporting survivors of sexual violence.

Jonathan's going to be on the stage again!

It's a really good news!
As a part #VoiceintheDark series there will be a staged reading of Lorien Haynes play  “Everything I Ever Wanted To Tell My Daughter About Men” (I’ve written about this play in July). It’s a black comedy about woman’s relationship, sexual assault, addiction and teen pregnancy. The staged reading will be directed by Tara Fitzgerald (Jon’s co-star from the “Good Grief”). Jonathan, Jason Isaacs, Charlie Field and Joe Sims will be joining Lorien Haynes for the staged reading in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse in London on 20 February at 8:00 pm.

MFA (Int.) students from East 15 began their residency at Shakespeare Globe theatre last week.  They are rehearsing a few Shakespeare plays: “Two Gentlemen of Verona” and “As you like it”. Jonathan was a tutor for the Shakespeare workshop last year. What about this year? Maybe.
I have no proof, just some thoughts.

This is an old picture from 2016 (Jonathan directed one of the Shakespeare comedies "All's well that ends well" at Mountview drama school).

Have a good week!

The Complete Arkangel Shakespeare...

...is a series of audio dramatizations. On this webpage
https://www.dimsdale.co.uk/the-complete-arkangel-shakespeare-2/

all 38 plays of William Shakespeare are available to listen online for free. All plays released from 1998 onwards. This production features nearly 400 actors, almost all past or present members of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Jonathan as Claudio in "Measure for Measure", as Orsino in "Twelfth Night", as Palamon in "The Two Noble Kinsmen".
It's a great gift for Shakespeare lovers and a great opportunity to listen to Jonathan and enjoy his acting in the audio play.

Have an amazing weekend!
Enjoy this beautiful image of Jonathan (from the Winter's Tale rehearsals, 2013).
I have no new information to share. I feel as I've lost my information search skill, or maybe I'm just getting older and dumber :) (actually, according to brain research it's just a myth!).
